Well it was very short lived frown

Only a few miles in and there is a very loud clunk clunk clunk clunk from the differential area.

I'll get under her tonight and see if anything is visable external to the diff and if not I guess I'm taking it out again.

Not as bad as first thought.

Split diff bush and the prop UJ is hitting the chassis causing the clunk.

Everything was torqued to the correct setting so I'm guessing faulty bush.

Nope.
Now SORN'ed.
MOT ran out on the 23rd.
Still ordering parts to continue with the diff mount and chassis, yes chassis, repairs.

This is, cleaned up, where the propshaft UJ was rattling against the chassis.

I'm also going to do some sorting out of the geometry on the front wheels as at the moment they are as far in at the top ball joint as it will go but is still not far enough so is still positive camber.

The work continues.

Still some work to do but rolling under her own power is a good start.

Set timing
Bleed brakes, again
Mot
Tax
Fit speakers
Fit cigar lighter
All should be complete in 1 evening.

Run engine in.

Full geo set up, to be booked in once all above complete.

I'm sure there's more but that's all that comes to mind right now.

And in between that I'll start stripping your car Mark.
