Apologies for the slight hi-jack of the thread.

With an increased diameter AFM and high performance injectors, what sort of power and torque gains could be expected with a 500 in good fettle? Thanks,
Mine has Bosch red top injectors, a 72mm plenum, 20AM AFM, ACT induction hose, K&N filter, shortened crumpets, lightened flywheel, fully decatted, Clive Y and a stealth cam, but still on the 14 CUX.
Lovely driveable car, no shunting, and 300 bhp at the flies and 330 torques. No idea what it would have made without those additions, as the 5 litre engine and all that lot came as a package. It seems to punch above its weight, because while I was disappointed the numbers themselves weren't 20-30 higher, the driveability makes it perform better than you would expect overall.

I am in the East Midlands - come and drive it if it would help you decide before lashing out tha cash.

Which heads and intake do you have? Stage 3 and 45?

I think its in the region of 10 -15 BHP for the AFM, and Ive seen quotes of 330 BHP for AFM, injectors and a re chip, but I cant find the post now to verify my memory....

The best heads will give you the best results.

Robs stage 4s gave me 50bhp+ with his trumpets and inlet manifold, (I had a 72mm plenum already).

Then first change the AFM and maybe afterwards the plenum.

The only thing to be aware of is that every change that requires a remap costs you a remap - travel, time off, hassle and the cost of the mapping itself.
So work out which of the things that you are likely to do require a remap, and do them all at the same time

I have got the complete set of ACT. 20AM and a new chip and resistor for the CO trim.
