Had a quick drive today, to test the impreza rack, feels great so far, need to fix my reservoir, and get tracking done, anyway had the OS rear brake pads to fit, the other three corners already done. Seemed difficult to remove the caliper from the 2 sliding pins, on closer inspection, one of the bores on the caliper carrier is worn and both pins are bent. My actual caliper/ piston is fine, can I purchase just the carrier and new pins, or do I have to purchase caliper and carrier together?
Any ideas

Try http://www.biggred.co.uk/ John is quite helpful but I suspect you will struggle just to buy the carrier. EBay might be the other best option. Good luck!

How on earth did the pins get bent? They shouldn't be subject to any side loads confused

Can't add anything to the info posted above for spares sources but interested what discs are being used with those spacer brackets - any idea on size/spec?

Doesn't make sense to me either, mind you I've never been keen on that design of caliper - no matter how common it is !

Its not that uncommon. It happens when the pins and slider get dry and seize. When the brakes get applied instead of the slider moving to clamp the pads the pins get bent as the piston is not inline with the pins.

This ^ and stupid fkers trying to lever the caliper over to move the piston back into the body which as we know dont happen when a caliper incorporates a handbrake mechanism rolleyes

Located some new pins, but struggling to buy just the carrier, my carrier had 1 very worn bore, and it's pin will not go in all the way the other bore is not worn, the pin is slightly bent but does go all the way in. So new carrier and pins required.

I'll have a look in the garage tomorrow, might have my old ones which were working as designed when I removed them. I'll let you know in the morning.

With regard to width is it the distance from piston to caliper angle or the pin lengths, my pins are 71mm long and 8.2mm diameter

The measurement is 55mm, and the measurement is the full length of the brake pad track, not the casting.

New pins arrived today, as I thought 1 is a nice fit, the other very loose so carrier is shot,

Just got back from a mates garage, he is building another drift car, he mentioned he had a Sierra back axle with calipers so went for a look, unfortunately these were the solid disc type not the vented disc type, so the width of the pad track was less than 55mm and the pins were 60mm not 71mm. So still looking.
