High beam

A bit of a weird one ,when i just have the ignition on the high beam flasher works but permanent high beam does not .

When the engine is running the high beam flasher does not work but permanent does work .

What is happening ?

It does does not work with the engine running but works with the ignition on only .

High beam perminant, ie. push stalk away, should only come on with the lights turned on.

I believe the issue that is trying to be conveyed is that the headlamp flasher doesn't work with the engine running! Can anyone help Daz?

I had a dodgy high beam stalk, going over bumps high beam would flash,
Replaced and it's now ok.
Dunno if that helps,, can't find the supplier details though
I'm moving so can't get at paperwork!

That is correct the high beam flasher works with the engine off but not on .I have to push it forward and flick it back if i need to flash anyone .

Its weird how it works with the ignition on .

i've got some stalks/sticks in the garage if that might be the problem?
