Cheers guys smile

You would get 2 pipes down the side of the t5 box easy Derek...

I think the standard size pipe is quite small tbh.

Hi Neal

I notice your silencer box keeps the 2 pipes separate as per normal US V8 practice, where as the normal TVR set up combines them, then splits them apart again.

What was your thinking on this ?

Is it to do with firing order ?

I always like the sound of US V8s (sort of lumpy burble - maybe due to separate pipes ?)
Hi, I am very restricted on space and this was about the best I could achieve. For me it was more about pipe size rather than outright design. I knew I needed 2 x 2.5" for the power I hope to make.

Turbo's dampen the sound down quite considerably, I have no idea how it will sound but with having the welder I can always change things till im happy.

Regarding X pieces and H pieces the research I have done is they dont really help much on a Turbo car on a max effort NA setup yes maybe. I am so limited to space though.

Hoping to make some noise very soon, just 2 lambda sesnsors to wire in then DONE smilewinkwink

As neal says it not going to matter on his hair dryer system, he's just gonna need 400 section tyres! hehe
There is a plan un-hatching which will hopefully see me with some 335's on but its major work inc chassis cuts but gotta be done.
(next winters project if I get some miles on it)

Are you planning running wider ??

Started the LS again today. Loaded another base map and it fired right up. Idle was high but need to get it mapped now in the next couple of weeks.

Its going to sound great I think.

Still need to slash-cut the exhaust pipes before anyone notices smile

Yes gotta speak to dale just to get a base map on wastegate pressure.

His dyno will only take 550bhp so no good for final stuff frown

Thanks for the positive comments.

Just a little cooling issue to sort the temp just climbs in idle. I thought I had the most powerful spal fans 12" you can get but after speaking with them today they have some which are twice as powerful so out comes the wallet again lol

I wont attempt drag racing unless I'm on some mickey Thomson et streets minimum or I'm wasting my time turning up and paying lol

That looks fantastic, and sounds awesome. What silencers are you running?
They are universl Stainless Steel ones from MJ Exhaust.

Only £35.00 each the whole exhaust came to just over £200.00 which was an absolute bargain! smile
