ah, but you've cheated Chilli and modified those headlights to make it look far more appealing and Griff-like

Sorry if the last post seemed harsh. I meant to go back and put smilies on it but PH crashed and I couldn't get back in.
Here is belated one

I've never had the faintest interest in the Chimaera.

Fugly damned thing with a big droopy ass and ugly headlights.
So its a bit like a woman, if the front AND the back are ugly its best left alone.

Bleeding was not the problem, getting it out was a pain in the ass. I cut a hole in the inner wing in the end.

Just for interest if you find this job easy, would it be impolite to ask how many elbows you have, and do you work as a circus contortionist?

Having been there and got the T-shirt for this job I wholeheartedly agree with Major Fallout on this.

Kind of close my eyes

I say that's a bit harsh and somewhat unprovoked... And there was I mustering up some sympathy with your loss of interest thread..

How can you possibly find this fugly????

What a beautiful car would love me one of these in the future

You suck the res dry, remove the res from the master but not before stuffing the cavity with tissue roll cool short spanners for unions refit old or new res onto new master with lubed seals by pushing down jobs a good-un, and yes I have hands like shovels wink when you have been in the trade for as long as I have you dont make work for yourself if it can be avoided scratchchin

Mk3 headlights, definite improvement over the earlier Chims, but in no way intended to look 'Griff like'... A Chim cannot compete with the iconic Griff shape, it is after all the car that turned the Companies fortunes around... for a few years... Clearly however, the development of the Chimaera took TVR styling to new heights, moving away from the imitation 'E' type front and A35 rear end with Cavalier lights and a useless boot to something more sophisticated yet wholly evocative of 60's muscle cars.. combining beautiful lines with an aggressive stance and overall to die for looks... takes my breath away every time I open the garage doors... wink

They are bloody gorgeous cars.
Took mine out for a ride last weekend, ran out of petrol and had to walk about a mile to get some more. Didn't care, still makes me so happy every time.
When I put it back on the drive and get in the daily drive BMW it just feels so boring and miserable, the BMW is a 330 so isn't slow or bad handling but it's just not on the same level at all.
Got stopped when leaving the pub car park by an old bloke who wanted me to 'give it some'. He then shouted you sexy bh, haha my friend Charlotte thought he was talking about her but I knew different.

It don't make no difference I have changed them with everything in the bay , no trickery just short spanners for the unions that's it, never understood brake bleeding issues with these cars anyway.

I just thought that with the engine out your access via the clutch panel would be easier by standing in the engine bay.
