Hello Jason! I meant to message you on here funnily enough to let you know I have one at last. Thanks very much. I do still have the Jag but it will be going very shortly, just a few last jobs to do and then it will be advertised. I'll be sad to see it go as it's been a great experience but fundamentally the TVR feels so much more fun. I take it you will be at the Burghley meet? I should be heading up weather permitting.
Good for you for taking the plunge and hope it continues to be a lot of fun. Yes I will be at Burghley and the weather will just dictate if it's roof on/off but will be going what ever we have installed.
Long range weather forecast is looking good so far

Might be a little difficult spotting you among the other 300 odd chims but will keep my eyes peeled thumbup

They were right when saying smoking is a stupid expensive habit.

Filter tips required this time.. Same shops 2.5 miles away but just done 38biggrin

So that's about an extra 80 miles than I needed to do,5 miles just doesn't satisfy the urge.

Bought mine in July 1999 as a 5 year old '94' 4.0 so 16 years in July driving
It's been for sale once, then decided to keep it, much to the dismay of the potential buyer I had, and was due to be for sale about now but the car I planned to replace it with didn't fit in the garage so it's staying a bit longer. rotate

Very difficult I think as the parking is going to be the same as last year, first come basis and not by model. Something others and myself have commented on and been shot down. [much preferred the Chatsworth way] hey, ho.
Apologies, back on topic eh.

Bought mine in January then went straight off to a well known dealer for a turbo upgrade, engine rebuild etc. Not one email has yet been replied to; phone calls only to tell me how much more it will cost (horn wiring loom damaged, radiator shot etc) and the last call (13th March) informed me the car would be ready in 7-10 days max.
Really losing the will with this.

Just over a year. 5 TVR's in and it's the biggest drama queen of them all.

Previous owner had it 19 years and did 2000 miles in those years. I guess I'm reaping the reward of inactivity!!

Still, they get under your skin don't they biggrin

He was a bit odd. It was in a heated garage and never went out in the wet, at all. He polished it a lot though.

Retrospectively I would have preferred to have bought a more used version. It's pristine but little niggly things keep cropping up...
