I have a Chim 400 with PAS first registered in 96 but it's non facelift model. I need to change the tyres and currently I have the following on:-

Front - 205/55/15 V rated Toyo Proxes
Rear - 225/50/16 W rated Toyo Proxes

Now, having looked at the Steve Heath bible it suggests on page 329 that I must have the wrong tyres on for a PAS car. If it's actually a pre-96 car it says they should be 215/50/15 & 225/55/16 or if it was a 96 onwards car it should be 225/50/15 & 225/50/16.

I just do road driving ( no track days so far) and am now confused! Can someone please tell me what I should actually be fitting?

Many thanks

If you are happy with what you have stick with these sizes . I thought the T1R`s were brilliant for road use .

My 99 Chim came with exactly what yours had on 205/55 15 and 225/50 16.

And at that price I would probably buy some spare too - compares well with the £130 per shoe my Audi is getting (not available in correct size for the Audi).
