Ok Guys a simple one I changed my radiator and now the fans dont cut in ie cooling, but possibly they didnt before the rad change as it overheated, any help please ,,,

has to get to like 94 degrees i think....i just put a fuse inbetween the 2 fan connections, on all the time and never goes above 75 degrees

Short the otter swich and see if they run
If not try the conectshions at the front

If they're both gone, then its unlikely to be fuse related as in mine (2000) they are on separate circuits.

Most likely corroded connectors immediately engine-side of fans. Mine looked like they had been under the sea for a few years. Cleaned up, everything OK.

So clean these before buying a new Otter switch - unless you want a spare in the drawer, like me... Doh!

My best man lives in Glasgow - poor bugger, no need to buy a convertible there! laugh

Its minus 2 here but sunny so it should warm up,
