Those that know me will know me this as been a bit of a slog with obstockles in the mix but am really seeing progress now just the dummy build up of the heads to make sure I have enough piston to valve clearence (notches deep enough) and I am on my way final cleaning and thread chasing going on everything checks out my engineers have done a cracking job of cutting my enlarged valve seats reaming new guides etc just three more like this ..... revising plumbing (no more horrible o/s twin coolant pipes) 2 bypass loops instead of one extra for my oil cooler, all in stainless so I can weld it to suit my needs.

Yep I have the TVR covers but with the TVR milled off because of this I paid £25 for these no one bid on them cos they didnt say TVR they came ready powder coated too I am using a proper PCV valve I think the RV8 system can be improved but that filter is coming off in favour of a catch tank of sorts

Looking forward to this Simon, keep up the momentum bloke. Oh, good find on the rocker covers.
Was a bit worried about valve to piston concerns (notched already) and rocker geometry i.e roller tip sweep but fortunately it checked out always a worry if your decking/removing material from the block or heads so I am now a lot happier and its full steam ahead I have been putting this bit off for good reason, got to come apart again to remove the checker springs and fit the ARP head studs those push-rods are not staying Edited by Sardonicus on Wednesday 22 April 22:18
Little things going on still happy with my intake manifold alignment & port matching calculations anyway, slight trimming of intake gasket was necessary especially near the fuel injectors, all seems to be coming on rather nicely now and no more headaches, Cillit Bang is the dogs for cleaning ally
