Those that know me will know me this as been a bit of a slog with obstockles in the mix but am really seeing progress now biggrin just the dummy build up of the heads to make sure I have enough piston to valve clearence (notches deep enough) and I am on my way clap final cleaning and thread chasing going on everything checks out my engineers have done a cracking job of cutting my enlarged valve seats reaming new guides etc bow just three more like this laugh..... revising plumbing (no more horrible o/s twin coolant pipes) 2 bypass loops instead of one extra for my oil cooler, all in stainless so I can weld it to suit my needs.

Excellent stuff, don't forget to make sure there is enough clearance above the guides too (don't ask me why I suggest this)! Glad it's progressing smile

thumbup Was a bit worried about valve to piston concerns (notched already) and rocker geometry i.e roller tip sweep but fortunately it checked out always a worry if your decking/removing material from the block or heads so I am now a lot happier and its full steam ahead I have been putting this bit off for good reason, got to come apart again to remove the checker springs and fit the ARP head studs those push-rods are not staying wink
