makes me ashamed to open the bonnet on mine.....
All relative though Macks put a lot of time into that as your well aware Mine gets no attention under the bonnet apart from checking fluid levels and inspecting for leaks etc. Hence it looks like I have driven 100,000 miles around an industrial estate with the bonnet off. Or like any other 16 year old daily driver.
I will try to put matters right over the next two winters, by taking the body off, refurbing the chassis, refreshing the engine, full respray in a nicer colour, lupo light conversion, and sort out the carpets and curtains.
Number 1: 400 Ran as a company car 1996-1998
Number 2: 500, also a company car 1998-1999. One of the first with round rear lights, one of last with no PAS
Number 3: 500, this is the TVR that gives them the bad name. It was utter poo. Kept it for 6 months
Number 4: 500, the last company car.
After I had this pile of crap I vowed never to have another TVR
But, then made the error of dropping in to Fernhurst for a cuppa
Number 5: 450. Had it for 6 months because although lovely wasn't a 500!
Number 6: 500. Got it in 2004...still lovin' it!
So, nearly 20 years of ownership...still makes me laugh every time I start her up.
