I'm still using the millers. Compared to the cost of all the fuel you put in during the year the extra cost of the oil is almost irrelevant. If it works at it is happy why change?

PS: How did you get on after your second run at Shakey?

15w60 Millers for me too, seems to work well and doesn't dis-colour too quick.

Another vote for the millers, I've been using it for several years now. It's not overly expensive when compared to equivalent oils and its only about the same as a tank of fuel once a year.

I called Millers recently as CSS 15w60 no longer appears on their website, they were very helpful and happy to discuss at some length. The upshot was they've stopped making it and now recommend their Classic High Performance 20w50 NT (nano technology). I might try this next time round, probably October - currently on CSS 20w60.

Mine's still running with Mobil One.

It's changed every year regardless and it doesn't "use" any between changes.

Rovers are an old engine design and as such like a heavy weight oil. If you're going to load the pistons and rings up, then to me it makes sense to stick with a 20/50. I used to use Valvoline or Kendall but in the end I went for quite ordinary non synthetic stuff and never ran into any issues over a fair few years. When I opened the engine up for inspection it was in a really good state. :-)

Nigel, please keep us updated with how you get on with it. I did read on their website that this oil needs to be run up to a minimum of 100 degrees celsius on it's first cycle to release the "nanos".
