I've had 3 Chimaera and a Wedge and the rear roof struts have always been a doddle until this current one.
They are so tight to both close and open (put roof up and let it down).
I believe the rear roof has been re-trimmed, is there any adjustments? I cannot see anything.
Cheers

On mine if you loosen the bottom bolt there is a little play which is enough to get the right amount of effort required.
Mine also went right after a new roof.
It only took a very slight adjustment to get it to a good pressure required.

the struts on mine are also packed out with washers to (in my case) make them tight enough.

Beware of making it too loose.
These roof panels have been known to pop out at high speed.

How did you make the adjustment?

Hi
Basically slackened the nuts off then tightened the again. Worked a treat but two weeks on the passenger side one needs foot pressure again.
Think I need to remove it and maybe file out the holes....

Wonder if the roof is shrinking?

Had a windscreen fitted recently? how tight are the struts to click when the roof centre panel is removed?

The screen looks to be quite an age as it has the milky bits at the bottom.
Think the rear roof may have been replaced and the screen top seal looks new.
