I wasnt on my usual Triple 8s but more road biased R1Rs as they forecasted rain.
Apologies for squeeking brakes.........
Totally safe, hitting 130 on the back straight, later in the day 140.
As you can see, all sorts on track.

You make it look so calm and relaxed, Peter, no drama. Out for a Sunday afternoon cruise.
I know how fast you were actually going, as you were keeping pace with me on the last clip and I was fully on it. 120-125 at the end of the start finish straight, 95 around the first corner, 135 mph just before braking for the Esses and around 75-80 in 3rd around the long right hander (Corams) at the end of the lap.
It gives you the chance to explore far more of the Chimaera's performance then you can on the road, and in comparative safety.
Guys and Gals, if you are curious, come along to Mallory Park (LE9 7QE) this Thursday (21st) if you can, find me in the pits in my purple Chim, and see what it's about from the passenger seat, or come to Bedford Autodrome (MK44 2YP, approached from the south west corner of the old airfield) on Monday 15th June, where there will be a number of TVRs. A fiver gets you a whole day of passenger rides. No shorts, no short sleeved shirts, bring your helmet if you have one, though I have spares, as does Phazed, and you can hire them at the track for a tenner if none fit.
We're on track from 9.30 until about 4.30 and there's a cafe for lunch.

You're going to get me on trouble Peter.
I love track days, and promised I wouldn't put the chim through it as the last one I did, I killed a mini cooper engine (Not my fault, it wasn't correctly offset bored when built so the bores were too thin, and rattled like a kids toy after the fourth outing).
Funnily enough, just had an email from Adrian Flux offering cheap track day insurance.......Maybe it's destiny
Lots to do to the chim before I would ever let it loose on a track though, Would be a liability at present

Any upgrade for the track is good for the road.I love track days, and promised I wouldn't put the chim through it as the last one I did, I killed a mini cooper engine (Not my fault, it wasn't correctly offset bored when built so the bores were too thin, and rattled like a kids toy after the fourth outing).

Better pads, better tyres and better suspension, (if yours is a bit tired).
Make sure the car is running sweetly and off you go!
I'd be happy to advise if you want...............anything to get another chim on track!

Is this sold out Anthony ? I'm up for this one but it doesn't seem to be on the MSVT site.Edited by QBee on Tuesday 19th May 15:43
So you've persuaded me, didn't take too much
Is there anything you experienced folk would recommend? Like things to do prior, i'm guessing general health check, oil, levels etc etc.
Tyres and brakes are new and everything else seems ok.
Anything to take there spares wise just in case?
I think i read somewhere no shorts or short sleeves? There goes my weekend wardrobe of vest and speedos
I've got home recovery if the worst should happen, but it won't, TVRs are too reliable
