Appreciate there are a lot of threads about the Mk3 headlight conversion but most seem to discuss having the job done professionally at one of the accepted suppliers ( Central / Sportmotive )
Just wondering if anyone has fitted the full kit themselves and how easy / difficult it may have been?
Just to be 100% clear I am not talking about the Steve Edwards conversion.
Also , if anyone has a pic of the conversion on an imperial blue Chim it would be appreciated. biggrin
Cheers

Yes not a cheap upgrade but once its done its money well spent. S&D have a good reputation, their not the cheapest but its an old saying "you can't beat the best" and l think spending that extra few 100 quid is worth it. I suppose if you have a go and it all goes wrong then pack your car off to S&D maybe nothing to loose.

The smaller wheels and fat tyres suit the car ,always liked your car ,you had balls choosing that colour

Makes me want to buy some standard wheels and fit same fat R1R`s on the rims . nice .cool

I don't remember the moaning bit but thanks all the same (I thinkrolleyes)

And yes, the Mk3 faired headlights are housing the 4,000 lumen LED H4s.

Unfortunately I'm making a half hearted attempt to sell her at the moment. Rug-rat #2 is on the way and I don't think I'll be able to keep her. We'll see...like I said its half hearted.

Did these myself couple of years back they came from a fellow pher but Fiberon do the kit
Not too bad to do, just have to mark twice and cut once!!! if your careful there will no need for paintwork apart from spraying the inside of the shells and be careful with the Sikaflex!!
I did do a bit of a write up will see if I can dig it out
Unfortunately last year I had a little "excursion" so I am having to do them again!!
