Has anybody tried the amber LED bulbs for the indicators or is it best just to stick with standard 382 amber bulbs?

My thread on LED indicators should help dispel any fear of changing the flasher relay - it's easy, and I've suggested one that you can order. You don't have to completely remove the dash top; just lift the left hand side.
I found the silvered amber conventional bulbs were a bit feeble. LEDs are brighter, and give a much crisper flash.
