Update.
The block and crank are with Roland at ACR near Chester.
A new liner to be fitted. A rebore to 96mm. Offset grind the crank to 86.3mm. Chevy rods and a nice set of custom forged pistons.
I am going to fit a new M248 cam and solid lifters too.

How exactly does this offset grinding work. I understand how they grind it to increase the stroke slightly but surely this leaves the journal smaller in size. Are the Chevy rods smaller diameter than the Rover items or what. If they are not how do they match the rods to the now smaller crank journal.
