You'll need a greek mathematician to sort that one out. Make sure the o/d's are the same though, lol. I once fitted a large Mcleod twin plate by using a rangie flywheel and part drilling into the ring gear. It worked a treat and handled everything I gave it. :-) Which under boost was quite a lot.

Guess that would depend on if the crank was internally balanced or externally balanced with a clutch pack fitted. You would assume that clutch packs come already balanced. Most people don't rebalance an engine when they change clutches so maybe it's not to critical?

As for my engine, I can't remember how it had been balanced. It was years ago.

The flywheel is neutrally balanced on my engine (ie as a discrete component); the cover I have in mind is a smaller dia than the original although I accept it will need careful setting up and perhaps re-balancing after fitment.
