Thanks chaps. Not doing the body off job at this sitting though. The chassis looks in really good shape at the mo just going to get the mechanicals A1 & do the chassis as & when. Should start a new thread really.

So, has anyone managed to get the engine back in with the oil filter on??

So.... don't try & put the engine in with the oil filter on ... it won't go.

Looking good mate, but are they your heater hoses running down the left side of the engine? Might be a pain getting them to run across the rear of the engine bay from there.

Keeping them there until I do the top bell housing bolts up. Reverse procedure etc.

She lives!!

Fired her up the weekend & she passed the MOT today with flying colors!

She now drives like an absolute dream! Smoother than the smoothest smooth thing in smoothsville...

The bottom end is balanced along with the front pulley & it makes such a difference.

Will put some pics & a vid up in the next few days.
