Probably more than that.
My 60 foot times have dropped into the 1.5's on gas. Traction is endless.
I run 1.7s NA which is 2 tenths quicker than very good street tyre times. This can equate to more than 4 tenths up the 1/4

I'm not even running mine up the strip without a set on.

Is there a limit the mt street can take before you change again to a full drag tyre ??

My best on R1Rs was 1.87 as an indication.

Neal, you will probably need spiked tyres to stop you ploughing furrows biggrin

Not for us. Fadster used to run the same times on them in Twister with 1500bhp + a 400 shot to run low 8's at over 170.

Just get them smoking for a few seconds and give it all the beans you dare.

Can you spot the difference?

So now a decision to make.
Do i attach the gearbox and try to drop the lot in from the winch or drop the engine in as is and add the rest under the car?

Which will be the easiest do we think guys?

Rocker covers tongue out but will those vents be man enough Del? scratchchin I put engine in 1st then gearbox after then struggled with the linkage and especially the shims and nylon bush banghead as a unit I would of struggled on my own I reckon without knocking 5 bells out the engine bay and chassis frown

I have fitted mine as one lump a few times before.

As long as you have a good hoist and get the balance right.

Hmm, maybe I had a hand......

As you were!

Yeah think i am leaning to dropping the engine in as is. Ive had plenty practice putting gearboxes in.

On the vent front, i could always swap the filler for a flame trap.
