It fired up first time.
I ran it at a minimum of 2k revs until the temp started coming up. The AFR started to weaken off so I shut it off. I had reduced the required fuel to weaken it for the initial start up. Ive reset it nearer the original setting. Will check the oil and water levels before I fire it again.

Rolling road today. Big thanks to Dale at Bailey performance. He always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Nice safe tune. Very happy with this result on a fresh engine. It can only loosen up and get better.

Great result Derek, you must be pleased with that. Should be interesting at Shakey against Peter. Have a good weekend at York, keep us posted on your times.

I think my proper northern BHP will be more than enough for Peters Southern shandy drinking bhp.

It's made from chromoly. Probably less than the 2 full nitrous bottles I've removed.

Nice to see someone post a graph showing the transmission power lost. This bit is missing from most other ones.

12 months ago, on a rolling road, my Chimaera had losses of 70 bhp (!). This year after a service, the losses were 44 bhp. Surprising what fresh engine and transmission oils achieves. Yours, at 35 bhp are only 11% of peak power, which is excellent.

I think it depends on the rolling road too. Dales fly figures are always modest (real). I would be interested to see what the fly figure would be somewhere such as SRR. I guess about 350.

White wine spritzer - lol

We will have to or organise another SRR rolling road shootout. Would be interesting to see what the deifference in power is between the cars when measured on the same RR on the same day.

I had mine on Dales rollers a few years ago and it gave 312bhp. A couple weeks later at SRR I got 329 with no changes. So if I add the 17 bhp difference it comes to at least 347 wink

What you have to remember is that we are at sea level. So I trust that was taken into cosideration. It's also warmer down south ;-)
