Castlecombe track day, any interest?
Discussion
You guys!
I always enjoy the drive back, the pleasures of the day spinning through my mind.
I always stick to the speed limit and find the drive a great wind down and look forward to exaggerating my prowess behind the wheel in stories of fearlessness and bravery to my children (18-28 and they don't listen) and washed down with a few glasses of wine.
Can life get any better?

Post mortem.
Another truely great day.
Started off slowly for me due to QBees bad influence, red wine and the total lack of time scale!
Track conditions were perfect and lap times were tumbling through the day.
I had arranged for a free lesson for all TVR drivers, (thank you MSE) this everyone took up and the results showed on the track.
The last session was epic with the 3 quickest tivs steaming round the track faster then ever.
So a great day ending for me with a 115 mile drive back in two and a quarter hours. Some kind of record as I was towing the tiv with my 85 bhp motorhome!
It's such a shame that other TVR drivers don't explore their cars capabilities, they would not believe how fast a well prepped car can go on track.
Roll on the next event.

I'm sure a few of the usual suspects will be downloading them for their "portfolio"
