Quick bump as I wouldn't mind a copy.

The eBay copies seem daft money, original new copies appear to be £40 from http://www.shpub.co.uk

What do you have. If the later edition better than the first?

I bought a copy from shpub and have found it both interesting and useful. It obviously took a great deal of time and effort to put together and gained the nickname "The Bible" for very good reason, so I struggle with people being so dismissive of something as being completely useless just because their engineering experience levels are maybe higher than your average owner. If it is as terrible as being made out then go and focus your efforts on publishing your own book that everybody will find indispensable.

Fair. I'm a mechanical engineer and reasonable savy, currently owning a Westfield, bit have no TVR specific knowledge beyond knowing to check the out riggers!

I had to laugh out loud. Its a book & yes i bought the book. I have a manual for all my old cars & motor bikes & even parts manuals picked up from auto jumbles etc. The book tells you enough to get you going & because no one else has written a book, this becomes a "i bet he would like this for Xmas "book.
Believe me the tat is on the telly. Even the satanic verses & the DaVinci code never raised this amount of banter.
Its a book, it does not say workshop manual.
Yeah & old people read books.
Now i had better do an internet search for a TVR manual. Wish me luck.

Well Daniel, as a mechanical engineer at least you'll get a good laugh out of the so called bible hehe

There are of course a number proper manuals for our cars:

And for brakes and driveshafts a Ford Sierra manual will serve you well but TBH it's all very simple and basic stuff.

All the rest of the information you'll ever need can be found on these pages, Google is your friend, as are the more savvy fellow enthusiasts who will be happy to help if you post your questions here.

Oh and and if you don't own one already buy yourself a good multimeter, because the big oily bits are generally super reliable and robust but TVR's idea of automotive wiring is sure to get you every time yes

Right ok. So it's maybe not the be all and end all reference material the title suggests?

It would mainly be for buying advice, and I guess car specific details like removing trimqm and sorting wiring I would like. Stuff you could ask here but probably don't need to.
