First of all we should be under no illusion what pops & bangs really are, they nothing more than the product of unburnt fuel entering the exhaust and wastefully burning there instead of inside your combustion chamber where it could otherwise be used to generate lovely power.
To my ears every pop or bang is simply the sound of inefficiency, personally I'd be looking at improving your fueling to eliminate this dreadful inefficiency not spending energy to enhance it.
The best pops & bangs you'll ever hear are to be found on a four stroke engine with burnt out exhaust valves, on every compression stroke raw fuel & air will be pumped straight into the hot exhaust giving that glorious sound of inefficiency you seek.
So if pops and bangs really are your thing you could always take a die grinder the your exhaust valves or seats, you could also fit a 9th cold start injector like they had on the ancient Lucas 4CU flapper system and open it with a switch on the back of your throttle pedal so it delivered a shot of raw fuel on the over run.
That setup would have you popping & banging down the road like a goodun

You just need to open up the exhaust pathway for those sound waves to reach your ear drums.
While you're doing that, I'll be doing everything I can to make as much power as I can from the fuel I buy, not wasteful vanity noises.

I'm with Dave on this one. Pops and bangs demonstrate the inefficiency of the setup and as such striving to get more inefficiency to make more noise is both juvenile and irresponsible. As responsible adults and TVR owners we should be setting an example to others, we should think about others and the possible damage our pops and bangs might be inflicting on their sensory organs. Such waste is also not good for the environment, and just adds to global issue of polluting our planet. Think also of the wildlife! Next time you pop and bang down a country road think about the little birds and critters in the hedgerows, they have rights too!
I considered all of these things a couple of years or so back, and realised I had to have a more responsible, mature attitude towards the things I wanted to do, and to take others into account too. This is why I de-sleeved my silencer box and put it back to standard, I was thinking of others, particularly my neighbours.
Now I have adopted this approach to life I feel I am a much better person.

People always seem to get riled up when someone is brave enough to challenge the status quoe thinking of the old guard, even when that person speaks the truth.
Pop & bangers should definitely consider that ninth injector, or maybe just run a Td line straight off their fuel return flexi directly into the hot Y piece.
If you're into throwing gobs of unburnt fuel down your exhaust to make vanity noises, you may as well make a proper job of it

Nope I'm talking the truth truth, you know the same truth anyone that understands the basics of fueling a four stroke engine will tell you.And I bet SH made his old Wedge pop & bang because he thought it made it faster, either that or he wasn't quite sure how to dial it out
The difficult truth in the age of fuel injection is pops and bangs are just there to make the ignorant feel like heroes, that's why Jag dialed them into the fueling of the F-Type as it impresses the mates of their target customer when he leaves his golf club.
It's also why intelligent car makers like Mclaren don't give you such inefficient vanity fueling maps.
I made a map specifcally for pops n bangs. I thought it was great for the first few weeks but it soon became a bit tiresome. To be honest i never use it now and like Simon employ the fuel cut on overrun.
The problem for the op is that if your on the 14 cux you cant just switch them on and off as you want and believe me you will want to turn them off after a while. I wouldnt bother.

And bears no longer deficate in woodland areas... I considered all of these things a couple of years or so back, and realised I had to have a more responsible, mature attitude towards the things I wanted to do, and to take others into account too. This is why I de-sleeved my silencer box and put it back to standard, I was thinking of others, particularly my neighbours.
Now I have adopted this approach to life I feel I am a much better person.

Current 4.0 Chimaera has the cats removed and the exhaust sleeved.
Outside, apparently it's "awesome"
Inside at about 45 -55mph in 5th it just gets tedious, there's a sort of noise similar to a tuned impreza which gets on your tits after a while.
At 70mph it's fine but even then it gets a bit overbearing on a long run. Think my earlier standard exhaust cars were better in that respect. For noise though the 350i Wedge I had was the best. Would never have got tired of that, only the chassis flex let that car down.
