Thanks Richard, fearing the worse unfortunately. Had hoped after what I spent on a brand new everything I would get more than 5k miles out of it
I realise this might be a sore point but.........warranty ? I do feel for you Ian, I reckon Dom & his lads are on for a great Christmas party at this rate, between the various posters on here we ought to expect an invite xmasbeerdrunk

Got an email from Dom today with the figures. Bit of a correction to my earlier post due to memory lapse.
Max BHP - 355.32
Max Torque - 481.19

Thanks mate - yep awaiting a report from Dom and then will test out the warranty from the earlier build. Will post up pics and all that in a different thread when I hear from Dom.As said earlier in this thread upgraded cams, valves and valve springs don't sit well with OEM rockers - its a right fking mess!

What cam are you running Ian and what rpm?

I also learned the hard way that big cams and rockers with pads on don't mix. may not be as bad as it seems
Gary - its a 234 hydraulic cam using JED Double springs and production rocker assembly. Something wrong somewhere as it has completely moulder nearly all of the pads and valve tops as a result. Awaiting Dom's feedback.

You haven't done that many miles on that engine have you Ian?

Has your cam a more aggressive profile than my 414?

Whatever, you shouldn't have that sort of wear.
