leven drop links
Discussion
I replaced my knackered Steve Heath drop links with Leven ones and haven't looked back.
They were a damned site easier to fit for one thing.
At MOT time I was told there was minor play in one of the links and Leven replaced it immediately with no questions.
I can only say good things about them.

Very happy with mine, expensive but good, made a big difference to the handling on my car too.
But my old originals were totally shot
The best thing about them is they fit perfectly straight out of the box, I know some have used Civic drop links but I believe there are fitting issues.
One thing that did happen shortly after fitting the Leven links was my rear wishbone drop link brackets fractures which is a know design fault and why new stronger brackets are offered and fitted these days.
I can only assume the rear anti roll bar was working for the first time ever after I'd fitted the Leven links which is why the feeble original brackets fractured.
All sorted in a jiffy by welding in the new far stronger brackets and I've never had a problem since, the Leven links are 5 years old now and are barely showing any play.
In the great scheme of things while expensive to buy in the first instance they have proved excellent value for money given their durability, improved function and longevity.

I was the author "Chimpaholic", I have since changed my name many times as a moving target is harder to hit
As you can see the post dates back to August 2010, so I wasn't far out with my 5 years.
Same Leven links fitted to this day, lots of happy miles covered, still working perfectly..
Leven links are what I like to call an expensive bargain..
Do it properly, do it once!

That's very good to hear
Had mine on the car for about 6 years. Originally bought from Leven when Simon and Jules were running the business. Last year one drop link started to squeak a bit, the new owners of Leven Paul and Jill from PPC replaced the part free of charge, even sent a new one out before they recieved the old one back first so the car did not need to come off the road. Unbelievable service when you consider it was a 5 year old part and the company had changed hands since.
There are still a few good guys left in the TVR world and Paul and Jill from Leven / PPC are one of them.
