They are fairly rare. One advert calls them an investment..

Crap. In fact I've never driven so slow, not! On pubic roads...............................actually bottomed out at 120 grams per acres.

.................
That explains what I have been seeing on the A1 at 6 am.......Audi and BMW drivers doing 85-95 mph with only one hand on the wheel.....................
Clearly they were holding their own.....

That's in Northern Ireland. How about this with less than 1/2 mileage, local(ish) & you'll get it for 7k.

For what you want the car for daily driver-wise, that makes a lot of sense, and would probably be quite a lot of fun on a monsoon track day, as well as on the Surrey twisties.Do check that the semi-auto gear box works fast enough - all the so called tiptronic boxes I have had on auto Audis, Mercs etc have been woefully slow. The Merc was the worst - fully 4 seconds from selection to cog swap. Not good for a £40,000+ car

After a fleeting dance with a stand in daily driver, a Vel Satis, (don't smirk laugh or mention it) I found the perfect car for peanuts.
Here's an exert from the add on fleabay;
2003, 171820 miles but still using so will change,I
Last 6 years has been all motorway driving and drives perfectly more like a 50k car.
MOT runs out June 9th 2016,
Climate control with ice cold air con,
cruise control
electric windows x 4
electric sunroof
remote locking and 2 full keys.
HUGE Boot..
Fast and smooth car.
has bilstien b8 dampers all round with h&r 20mm lowering springs (still goes over all speed bumps I have encountered)
eds tuning single mass lightweight flywheel
eibach front and rear anti roll bars wolfrace alloy wheels (standard size)
skoda headlight protectors
miltek cat back stainless exhaust, nice sound not loud.
forge motorsport 007p dump valve, again not to loud.
piper cross panel filter
minted 1144 brake pads on the front wheels,
Tyres on front wheels are 2 months old (continental sport contact 5 all round),
cat is about 1 year old,
windscreen is 8 weeks old,
drivers side rear caliper is 8 weeks old.
Car has sun roof, working climate control, genuine skoda cruise control and genuine vrs floor mats in the whole car.
Service history with car, never skimped on maintaining car.
drives as it should, in excellent condition all round in every way.
really has been looked after and the miles are from long motorway drives. does not look or feel like its done even half those miles...
Only been out for a 40 mile spin today but it is as tight as a drum and goes like stink!
Having had my old vRS mapped, I reckon this has been as well.
The body hasn't any scratches, dings or rust.
And the price, ......................................£999.00

That does look good, although I can't believe you haven't looked at one of these Peter

Admittedly 5x the price but asthetically 5x better looking. IMHO
Edited to say sorry I didn't read properly, you have already bought it, a little late for suggestions now me thinks.
