Anyway, I took some photos of the procedure. If anyone can see any issues with the mounts then let me know how to correct them would be appreciated.
The rad was in pretty tightly done up, pushing the rad when it was in rocked the car and not much give in the bobbins at all, so guessing this is what has made it crack.

Just to update this post.
I'm picking up my new rad from Aaron Radiators end of this week.
He has now put the prices up to £350 all in, for the TVR rads. Still a very good price though.
