Booked. My first track day for 9 years, open pit lane probably not the best idea.
Not driven the 300 circuit - wasn't built when I had to stop tracking.
Crikey, what have I got myself into - hope it's a dry day!

I will phone up tomorrow and ensure we get the free garage and book another one as well.

I still have to decide on some tyres. Better pull my finger out.

I'd love to but car won't be properly run in by then but I may use the journey over as some of those running in miles. Might see you chaps there!
Unfortunately won't make it across to see you all, car won't now be ready until sometime next week. Hope you have a good day and the weather forecast changes for the better!

Yup and no wets for the race car and the cerbie has coughed it's oil all over the workshop floor.

The last time I went out in the wet was at Combe.

That's when this happened and I was it really pussyfooting around.

I am sure Snetterton isn't as slippery as Combe but even so I am loath to go out in the wet.

We shall see nearer the time, weather is a changeable thing.

Hopefully no more "Wurzels" moments for you, Peter!
I will pop over and heckle if the current work downpour abates.
I need to go see Mat Smith this week anyway, and Snet is only a further 40 minutes away.

Well sadly at the last minute I'm going to have to pull out of this event frown

With the forecast looking bad I've been desperately trying to get the cerbera to keep its oil on the inside of the engine rather than the outside, but the piston blowby is so great that every full throttle run dumps about .25litres of oil on my workshop floor .. the silver lining to that is that when I rebuild the engine I can do something a bit special to it smile

But also, even though the forecast isn't for a complete washout of a rainy day, I don't want my first foray onto the track in the tuscan race car to be on cold slicks on a damp track, I'm not going to learn anything about the car so there's no point risking it all for that.

arm oot.

There was flood warnings issued for the area the other day!
argh too late anyway .. losing time to the cerbera (because the long term forecast was rain ..) has meant I've not even looked at the racer, not even moved the seat yet ..

Hope the weather holds out for you chaps tomorrow smile
I'm at Combe tomorrow hoping for the same, as I don't fancy the racing lines PHazed took last time in the monsoon
