Major frustration Richard,, when forced to go slow on track I always used do this massive peripheral vision thing,, take a good look at buildings, and all the stuff you don't really see when flying along, the bumps, loose curbs or whatever,
When your upto speed again you feel far more confident and at home,,, your eyes still process the info and my road positioning all gets better,,,
I like to look at every pointer I can get my focus on,,, dunno if that's worth anything to you Richard, maybe a tissue to wipe your mirrors might be a better idea biggrin

I'll be there to take part after all, unfortunately will still be (electronically) limited to 3750rpm but using the day as track experience and some extra running in miles before full remap, just hope I don't get in the way of too many others, I'll keep my eyes & ears open and my wits about me !

See you there!
Loads of places for people to overtake if you make it obvious that You have seen them and indicate , I will be using My silver Chim and Phil is in His red Griff , see you there smile

Don't cut it too fine as you might have to queue for the noise test and then queue for the sign on with all the others that get there last minute , there is usually a log jam as briefing is due to start.
But We be might lucky and have a day with not too many people on it smile

I'll be there just after 7.30, easy for me as I only live 20 minutes away. Thinking of fixing an appropriate sign to my rear end! See you all there.

Had a few moments this weekend when the little jobs all took stupid amount of time. I am packed and ready though.

I for one really enjoyed today, great to meet new faces. Thanks again to Dave for fixing my problem with brake lights thumbup. Somewhat frustrating with my rev limiter, but showed I should just be able to creep under the noise limit in the future (100.2 dbA & 3,600 rpm). Got another 120 miles or so knocked off my second phase of running in before full remap next week biggrin

Overall a good day. Still need to play with the damper settings.

Still grounding out on speed humps though. Now got a blow on the new exhaust fitted.

Nice to meet some new people.

Roll on Nov 15th at Snetterton.

Bonkers morning followed by bananas afternoon!

What a brilliant day, and thanks to all the other tivers for making Vaughan and me so welcome. Geoff, Phil, Richard, Stuart and those I cant remember the names of (because I am ungifted in that department) I'm looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Geoff's wedge was the experience of the day, along with learning just how hard I can fling a Chim around were the hightlights of the day, but for simply making one feel good you cant beat fixing something (thanks Richard!).

I don't think I'll get another day in this year, but see you next! And I look forward to seeing the Barn which will be a very interesting Saturday out before then.

Never mind Peter & Nick, there's always next time. It's certainly given me the taste for it although when I got home and said to SWMBO about looking forward to the next one she replied "what, another one! don't you think you've spent enough on that damn car recently" Not sure how she's going to take the news on my plans for next year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now lets see, 45 + TDs + sprints so say 50 @ average cost of a very minimum of £350 = £17,500.00.

In man maths that's hardly anything dear………………………………..
