I bought a couple of sets of these...

...with the idea being to pop them into the well behind the number plate on the Chim to get a bit better number plate illumination than the little Stag number plate lamps. I've already lined it with aluminium tape so that it reflects light better and these should be easy to drop in. They're self adhesive and I was going to put two on the bottom and two on the top of the recess but after lighting them up on a 12v wall wart I doubt I'll need more than two - they are pretty blinding!

Hi all, take it the Chimera has the same set up as the Cerbera with the light showing through the plate. Could anyone point me in the right direction as to were to get right sort of number plate, cheers.

The cerbera is slightly different in that the lights are mounted at the top. I fully chrome vinyl wrapped my recess using the same material used on car exteriors and both bulbs were changed to the LED festoon version.



Results are brilliant a totally lit rear plate with no further remedies needed.
