Hi all sorry if this is a silly question but, can you tell me if I will need to use spring clamps to remove the rear shock from my Chim? The shock on the passenger rear is in worse shape then the rest and I think I have a nock from the rear so wondering if the shock is at fault so want to remove it and have a better look. thanks

My adjustables simply unbolt, top and bottom. You may need to support the hub with a jack, I cannot remember.
On my adjustable dampers, you simply unscrew the spring support rings fully to be able to remove the springs.
Are yours standard dampers? Someone will have more specific info

No need to compress the spring to remove the unit but you likely will to strip it (if needs be)
