Hi Folks

Ive had my Chim for around 4 months now and I have replaced the swirl pot, hoses, temp sensor and had a radtech ali rad fitted, all at Hexham horseless carriages.
On the motorway it will sit at 70-80 and creeps up in traffic to about 90-100, fans kick in ok and seems to cool down once i start moving again, however inside the cabin its always hot and wondered if the following would help:

1 - Evans waterless coolant? heard mixed reviews and the guys at HHC are not fans of it.
2 - Would wrapping the manifolds or exhaust help with internal temperatures?

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Check your heater valve in the passenger footwell is closing fully, its not uncommon for it to allow hot water through to the heater matrix which leads to a hot cabin.

If it is the valve then you can get them on EBay for around a fiver .Its the same as a MK1 golf I believe. Make sure you keep the old cable clip as it doesn't come with the new valve.

You don't have to drain the system to change the valve as you only get a few drips
