Hi

For a serp engine, does anyone have the casting for the top idler wheel and the idler wheel itself (non-PAS) that I could buy off you? They're the ones at the top right of this picture;

I could pick up if it helps (within reasonable distance of the Midlands).

Cheers

Can't see the picture at the moment so excuse me if this is a stupid suggestion, but have you thought of getting rid of the huge block and idler and going for the John Eales alternator bracket? Neatens up the front of the engine a lot.

Yes, that is an option.

You could lose the idler pulley and fit a John Eales bracket with a shorter belt like this .

Just wanted to say what a great resource this forum is. Almost immediately after my initial post I'd found the original part AND an aftermarket alternative that I was previously unaware of. I'm sticking with the original and buying Peter's but thanks again for all for your inputs.
