Is a quaife diff much stronger than a standard BTR?
I need the strongest I can get if not costing the earth.

What are my options?

Well I use the Sagaris / T350 diffs which I put 600bhp through and I really rag mine as well, as you can imagine.11" sticky slix. £450 for a good one, some times on e bay. Hope that helps

Does that mean you have to change your hair style if you have a quaife dif 😃

My understanding is the quaife is stronger, it's also a different working diff unit

I had mine done by the gearbox man, always worth a ring and a chat to see what he says

Hope to see it on the road before too much longer Alex, will it be ready in time for my funeral? laugh

Having refitted my prop yesterday, I'm reminded I'm always surprised when failures like this and to drive shafts occur rather than the four relatively puny prop bolts shearing - guess it's a function of the geared loadings through the diff but we never seem to see props coming adrift (happily)
