Peter Wheelers Taimar Turbo on A14

Saw Peter Wheelers Taimar Turbo (VFA 539S) this afternoon (10July16) on the A14 heading East towards Kettering... Such a beautiful car... It was going some as well as it came past me in my everyday runabout Audi A6 2.7TDI LeMans Quattro Avant. Who owns it now and where are you located?

That would of been the current owner, Duncan Craft, on his to way to Stevenage was via Cambridge ...he had left my place in Coventry earlier having had the car brought fully up to date. Duncan had a Taimar turbo back in the day (I purchased that as a well damaged car after he crashed it and then rebuilt it), I am glad to hear that it was 'seen' and even happier to hear that he was seen enjoying it..A@

I think that car might have been with my wife's cousin for a number of years (up near Fort William), it was left to her husband in PW's will.

Doubt that was VFA539S, it's history is very much accounted for over the last 30 years, Northants, Ireland and Huddersfield but mostly in Cambridgeshire. But PW did have two other turbos so probably one of those.

Great that this fantastic car has a new devoted owner, turbo owners just can't stay away...

Ah ok, not sure what happened to the car that I am thinking about, I know it was sold circa two years ago and I think back to someone that had a connection to Peter or the factory.
