Not sure it does. I'm certain I've seen something that says it's not linked to the alarm. I emailed for more info but haven't heard anything back yet
From the video you hear a "click" which sounds the same as when you press the button on the key fob to lock the doors and the window closes. The door is already shut.

Time will tell ... I've ordered the kit.

Booked it in for fitting in August at TVRSSW ... I'll post a review later if anyone's interested.
Never listened with the sound on biggrin I would be interested in any review. I emailed the guy asking about the kit, not asking for any trade secrets just a brief idea of where the module fits, how much stripping out is needed etc but haven't heard anything back.

If you lock the doors automaticly "SIWICO" will closed the side windows too.

Also exchange the door rubber too if you dont want "freeze to death" over the forced ventilation ex work.

Firstly, what is SIWICO

Secondly, those glued back bits on the door seal are rain water drains

An idea, that using a £13 Universal Window Closer might get me close to the solution I need. I could either set it work from my alarm, or possibly from the courtesy light switch in the door sill. At least it will allow me to do the windows up when leaving the car.

Just need to find something that will automatically drop the glass slightly when opening the door. I should know, but assume the door opening ball in the centre console is mechanical, operating a brake cable type cable, rather than an electronic system (1994 Chimaera). Is that correct?

I thought this was about dropping and raising the window when opening the door, this gadget won't do it

yes, dropping and raising automatically is the most desirable solution. I know this will only close, but this does mean I can actually close the doors with windows down slightly and then raise them from outside the car when leaving it.

Rather than fit anything it may be just to give it a bit of time.

Last summer I changed my targa seals and I Then had the same problem as you have.
For a time I either had to drop and raise the Windows manually or just use a hand at the top of the window when closing the door which gives it a little additional help.

When I got in the car I would slightly drop and raise the window to assist in this process.
After a few weeks this is no longer required as the seal has very slightly compressed .

I also made sure that the window was always as fully closed as possible . This seemed to help the compression of the seals.

All perfect now

Only arrived this week.

Being fitted on Sept 5th by TVRSSW.

I'll post a review etc once it's fitted.

ETA- they've updated the wiring diagram and added a couple of diodes ... and it's not particularly clear how they wire in.
The wiring diagram is the extent of the instructions, so unless you can work with just that you'd probably be best doing as I am and getting it fitted by an expert.

How big is the actual module and where are you planning on mounting it?

The Cerbera does this - what about using that system?

The Cerbera need the Meta - alarm system. Our is a stand alone. Place the controller
closed to the inertia-swith into the upper-dasboard.

The additional advantage with the SIWICO that the window closed perfect with the rubber-seals

take a quick look how nice it´s closed .......

Bigger than I expected.

Not in front of me, it's with TVRSSW, but from memory it's roughly 15 x 10 x 3 (CM).

Plan is to put it under the dash.

Vaurien,

From the factory the Chimaera's had the meta alarm as well, does your development vehicle have meta alarm or is it a third party alarm?

Is there going to be a problem fitting your system into a car with the Meta Alarm System?
