Are any of you guys still letting your Chims out to play in deepest darkest December? biggrin

I was only asking as the weather is looking potentially pretty awesome next week- sunny, dry, and cold! Coupled with being off work for the Christmas break I fully intend to make the most of it, I didn't know if anyone else was about and fancied meeting up?

I was thinking Tuesday (27th) morning. I was planning on heading up Banbury way to see my cousin which would inevitably involve him bringing his 5.0 Mustang out if anyone fancied having a butchers at that too!

If the idea has legs, I'll start a new thread thumbup

Will be good to see you again Frank, I suspect the weather will actually be a lot better on Tuesday than it was when we all last met up back in August- it would certainly be difficult for it to be any worse! hehe

I've just spoken to my cousin and he's onboard- subject to conferring with his wife, so I'll start another thread for this in the morning, and I might text a couple of the others if we haven't heard anything from them in the meantime.

Just dropped mine off at Neil Garner for its Chassis refurb. Missing it already... the sun shining away today didn't help matters cry

As soon as I get it back, I'll be out to play driving

Have a great Christmas.
No worries Paul, that must be painful not being able to just grab the keys and go for a drive! Will be worth it when its done though. Are they fixing the whole in your back window whilst they are at it?! hehe

I'm up for this, missed the last one but anything for a chance to drive the relatively quiet Banbury Rd sounds like a good idea to me. thumbup
Nice one Alun! thumbup

How does 11am sound for everyone, at the Moon & Sixpence at Hanwell?

That was great to meet everyone yesterday, ideal weather conditions too. Next time i'll endeavour to make sure the place that I suggest is actually going to be open first! hehe

Totally agree Alun about how you really appreciate the noise/presence of the TVRs when you are driving in a group of them- you get used to simply seeing the same 'cockpit' view- so its good to get to see/hear what others do! I'm gutted I didnt get around to having a proper look at yours- I need to correct that soon, it's amazing and then I saw the spec on your profile! yikes

Definitely a good shout on the pub, although the ladies were actually far more than tolerant- my other half is quite a petrolhead (from a VERY petrolhead family!) and has already asked when we are doing it again- she loved the Griff. She actually has her own 2-seat soft top, even if it is only a Mini-roadster... She has designs on getting her Mum's MG Midget back on the road though biggrin

Also Nick's wife loves driving the Mustang whenever she can prise the keys off of him... hehe Both of them really enjoyed it though- definitely keepers!
