fk!
Contact Adrian at Central Tvr but now I've mentioned it be quick!
What a nightmare, no point discussing how or why now!
Goodluck
The only thing I can add is my left hand side roof prop ( can't think of the correct name ) is not as tight a fit as the offside but it's never popped! Maybe the trailer movement has been twisting the body slightly.
st crap bks. Sorry to hear this mate, just one of those set backs in Tvr life

Big clue to the wheel size will be the tyres R16 = 16", R15 = 15"
You could always forget the Targa panel and get a Surrey Roof. I've had mine for many years and it's still as good as new, can't even remember the last time the Targa panel was on the car.

Cheers mate, just spoke to a few people needless to say i will NOT be paying £600 from stevestrange on ebay nor the 800+ from tvr-parts
Hopefully just secured full hood (which i needed anyway)
When the targa was still intact!

So Chimaera roofs do come off then? .........
not a good start Steven but hopefully no more "glitches" !
Was thinking front wheels look "big", maybe you've got 16" all round?
to be honest it nearly ended up in my audi windscreen! Yeah they do look about 16's, so are you coming over to the darkside as well mike? I see it as bringing 'balance' to the force, owning both an 'S' & a chimaera..not a good start Steven but hopefully no more "glitches" !

I must have been a few cars behind you then (in my GTI). I thought the hood didn't look right at the back. I was surprised at the height it reached. It landed just in front of the Ford (?) in the outer lane. We left, as planned at the next junction (A43).Had a similar issue on my S1, I was able to pick up the panel and then a catch as fitted to the S2/3.

Blimey it did go some height didn't it, was like a speeding bullet! I was trying to justify stopping somewhere safe but it flew out into the outer lane & I didn't fancy playing 'why did the chicken cross the road'Had a similar issue on my S1, I was able to pick up the panel and then a catch as fitted to the S2/3.
Sadly will cost me a few hundred for a replacement one now

Its not the first one, but yours wasn't even secured. Sadly will cost me a few hundred for a replacement one now
I know of another Chimaera owner who had a properly secured one come off at speed on a track day. So make sure that everything is tightly fitted, guys
