Whistling Rear Window
Discussion
I've got a 2006 Mk2 'S' and have a ne larger spec rear window and new window seal but I can't stop the thing making a whistling noise from air escaping on the motorway at 70+.
I've moved the window several times and it always makes the noise one way or another. Are there any tricks or tips to stop this please?

The billet RaceProved clips I had on mine can be tightened with more adjustability using M8 "Thumb screw" headed bolts.

Might get more luck changing to those?

Sorry but your thread reminded me of the time I took my Dad to Germany with me for his 80'th birthday.
Took the roof off to help him drop into my Tuscan and what's the first thing he did?
Pulls out a double cd of Roger bleedin Whitaker !!!!!!!!!!
He agreed to not turning it up above 60

Thanks for this, I forgot to mention that I have these fitted as well. Everything I can think of to stop it I've done and it is driving me insane!http://www.racetechdirect.co.uk/rd004-tvr-car-part...

Whistling sounds more like something protruding or a gap rather than the normal squeaking problem through friction. On my Mk1 I sometimes get a lot of air rushing noise from the rear of the hoop over 70mph which is weird as if anything it steps down from targa panel to hoop and its a tight fit. Doesn't always do it all the time either so it must be a subtlety of panel fit after removal and/or winds or some weird inverted aero effect. I would suggest getting a passenger to try and isolate exactly where its coming from.
Does your new screen have the anti friction tape on both sides of the top edge ?
