Meta M357 Boot Popper
Discussion
I don't have a diagram to hand but have some notes from when I fitted a Meta M327 kit (from Abacus) some years ago. - guess that might be similar to your M357. With the top of the dash off I used piggyback connectors to tie in to avoid unnecessary cutting any existing wiring. If yours is already fitted then it might be done differently.
Two components - the control box and a 12V relay. The control unit has permanent live feed (fused) on red, Earth on black and a signal output also black marked No.56. (The signal is a one second +12V pulse) This runs to the relay pin 86. Power on the relay (pins 85 & 87) will depend on whether the boot solenoid is wired as +12V or earth. I ran the output from pin 30 to the 'downstream' side of the push button boot release switch.
Hope that helps.
