Whilst chassis is a at at RT Racing thought I would tidy up under bonnet .I have ordered new heat shield material and am going to paint lower part of inner wings .Is it just a black stone chip or is it a special heat resistant paint ? Just didn't want to do it wrong then have to redo it with engine in place and chassis back on .Unless anybody has done anything different that they really rated ?

As far as I know, it is regular satin black paint.

I use this stuff, Rustoleum as it is a good tough paint for most surfaces. Bonus is you can spray upside down or at any angle with this type of dispenser so handy for the inner wings. Not the cheapest but done my grille and rocker covers with it.
