Rich (Sheel)....Sad News
Discussion
It's been heartening for Rich's family to hear people's kind words and thoughts about him, as Al said there was plenty of banter flying round that garage, even in the darker times which kept everyone going.
Riich's funeral is at 1.00pm on the 6th October at Rainsbrook Crematorium Ashlawn Road, Rugby CV22 5ET.
If anyone fancies joining Rich on his last ride with their pride and joy they will be more than welcome, for the procession we are meeting at Rich's place around 12-12:15. PM me and I can give you the details. It's then back to the house for a drink and a bite to eat.
I think we have 5 cars so far Al, Richard, Martin Griff and mine, plus Rich's son is driving the red beastie...that sounds like a fair number of decibels!!

Rich got a loud and proud last run with a great selection of TVRs. Big thanks from Rich's family to Richard, Alun, Martin, Jim and Steve for making it a special event, Alex, Rich's son who drove his mum in the red beastie was brilliant!! Thanks to those that wanted to come but couldn't and for all the kind condolences from this forum. As requested we gave it plenty of beans as we left...
RIP (but not quietly) Rich

I second Richards words and thanks mate for being a rock, really appreciated it.
It's tough and hard to put into words as there are none.
Many people loved Rich is what I took from a special ceremony for a very special guy.
I learned more about Rich and he's someone who if he'd had more time in this life we would have got to know as a very knowledgable bloke and would have been a great help to others,
For his family and friends and yes us, he will be sadly missed.
He'd left with some great words about not carrying the sadness and grief of his loss for his family, in those final moments on this earth he thought of others.
A truelly great shed engineer his whole life and I think someone who loved to make others happy.
It was a privilege to help with his car even in such extreme circumstances for both of us, more because of Rich than me he still worked on and considered what the car needed right up until it was finished, in huge private pain because he didn't complain that car extended his defiance for as long as it took.
A very brave man and someone I'm privileged to have Known.
I'll miss him very much.
Take care Richie boy
