I was wait one topic like this especially regarding the price. The last one is altimes a sensitive point but how it´s comes ?

From begin :

5-6 PH - members was wish a "quick hinge" some month ago. To copy one existing design we dont want to do.
Therefore we was need some time for the new idea and rough construction. Then come the material procurment.
Unfortunately nobody sell only some some cm. To buy was only full rods/pipes/bars/packing units possible.

spaceman : if you can buy rose joint from stainless steel with external threads for 5GBP please the tell
us which quantity (1.000pc. .... 10.000pc.)is to buy to realize this price.

Sorry we are not perfect and was need not only one we was need three prototypes for the final version in this case.

Here separate the ways of single-garage-handmaking for myself and the way of manufacture like we work product.

Please dont think now I´m one arrogant person ... absolut no. Great ideas comes out from garage and a
lot of nice works too. The main-difference of a garage-maded-product and a product of a manofacture
like we are or one manufacture is :

- reproductible quality
- technial documentation
- create programs (laser-cut by this project)
- determination of quality- & material specifications

by one manufacture mostly are big quantities behind or he dont start ..... by us sometimes to begin less
as fingers on one hand ... with the hope it will comes more fingers, better hands (with fingers) to realize
the investments or better to reduce the price because amount goes up.

Certainly it would be possible to reduce the price hence we reduce our quality requirements .... but that is
not a way for us.
