Looking forward to seeing this Paul having seen your car in person! My body has been removed now... awaiting the first set of photos to come through and then I'll start a thread on mine too!
Before the body lift could you see any signs of corrosion on your chassis?

Yes, on the outriggers and also what can be seen of the chassis in the engine bay didn't have much powder coat left and was quite showing quite a lot of surface corrosion. I bought the car knowing I was going to do a full refurb. I decided at least that way I'd have a solid base to work from before doing anything else to it.Before the body lift could you see any signs of corrosion on your chassis?
Dave - might even have the hood sorted by the time you see it next!

Not really, just having bits that make sense to have replaced whilst the car's in bits like clutch, fuel pump, braided brake hoses, nitron dampers, water hoses and stainless pipes, steering uj's and heat shields. Brakes are standard 500 but freshly done before I bought it from Fernhurst along with fuel lines and cv boots.Steve
Once the bank balance has recovered a bit from this hit, I'm planning on getting the MBE engine management and perhaps a few other bits done to the engine. Then finally in the distant future I'll get a respray and retrim done. By that point it'll be time to start again!
