thumbup looks bloody good that matey, so where are the joins then? I thought the vinyl wraps were done in one sheet :/
Bonnet to headlights(Yeah...The Money-Shot.!!) are the worst, but quite a few bad things in general; I had a couple of hundred quid knocked off, but would rather have it in one piece...The Griff's body is like a shoe...I was told that there would be two joins, one under each door, but it was impossible to get the sharp
radius at the front...D-O-H..!! confused

Least they knocked some £££ off but when you pay you just want it right, especially on these cars.

Had something similar on my oz 8 spokes on the S, was a few grain like specs here & there they knocked money off but I would of preferred them just done right in the first place.

Not stainless, yeh i have heard of headers cracking that have not been wrapped and ones that have so think its a case of were headers in good shape to begin with is the question
I just want to tidy mine up, ceramic coating is out of the question as i heard it can distort mild steel? Just wondering if a VHT paint would work on these manifolds or do they get way hotter than the paint can handle
I used VHT paint on mine and it worked a treat, just used some emery cloth to give it a bit of a key
I blasted my manifolds first, then used an ultra VHT paint...I can't remember the exact temp.

Was discussing this with my mechanic he seemed to think a VHT paint would crack under the extreme temperatures the manifolds get up to scratchchin

Mine never cracked and was on the manifolds for 12 months before the Turbo install and still didn't crack. Now they are wrapped

He's also got a Clive Y piece at a better price as well,
If you sorted a courier he might be okay with that, worth a ask

Hi, are you going add the seat supports that have been mentioned on other threads? Since you have the chassis stripped now.

Is it worth welding in some seat mounting straps while you're at this stage?
Tony at Coventry car centre who's doing my rebuild mentioned something similar, said 4 bolts through fibreglass isn't exactly the safest

Did you mod your chassis? Any pics of the seatbelt mounting straps
I haven't but would like to. You could weld some plates in now and drill the mounting holes when the body is on if you can't position them accurately now.

After my outriggers were replaced i dropped the body back on to check every thing was ok and still aligned, then welded a flat bar across where the rear seat bolts come through the floor and two tabs on the middle tube to pick up the front bolts, as i have tuscan seats in my Chim i dropped the seat in there too to make doubly sure.
