Anyone know what the origin os of the rear wheel bearings, I think they might be Sierra but not sure which one ?

Sierra and the nylock nuts are handed for left or right.

I did try ph search didnt find that post so thank you for fonding it, very useful. I did find these pages under griffoth parts which also lists various useful info for the Chim.

think it needs to be a Sierra with rear disc brakes, XR4i etc. All the "normal" family saloon type Sierra's had drums on the rear and smaller bearings.

And to make the job easier still, do remember that the stub axle will withdraw from the hub after undoing the lock nut - ie the upright including the hub will come off the stub axle after removing the three pivot bolts without disturbing the driveshaft to stub axle joint.

Not mentioned often and keeps the mess and faff down... do make sure the lock nuts are tight however on reassembly wink
