This car has just gone up for sale. Cerb with a 4.6 Rover V8. Any takers?

I think this was up a little while back.....I do like a rover lump but not sure I'd want one in a Cerb...maybe for the old school v8 noise.

The scoop looks too Ferrari for me. Nice paint job and a turbo would probably make it faster than the real Cerbs (shhh, dont tell them though).

He's been trying to sell that since early summer. At one point it was advertised at an increased price including an LS lump he'd sourced.

Looks like the car that turned up at an early PH VW meet - circa 2002/2003.

I have a fully striped Cerb 4.2 project that I am likely to move on if your interested. Was going to do a full refurb, striped it and bought a sag!

I have most of an AJP engine, just need a few more odds. I considered buying this car when I saw it for sale last. Its a shame as it will put a lot of people off not being "original".

I have nearly finished the last project restoration Cerb, just need to put a coat of paint on it. Might actually sell it with "any colour you want", not sure....

I know someone who looked at it and thought that it needed a lot of work and money spent on it .

I believe the engine was built many, many years ago.

A project for the right price. The Rover engine wouldn't put me off but to me it would only be worth about 6K.

When my Cerb was driven away I was sorry to see it go which is unusual for me. I think price wise I would agree with you Peter and hope the chassis is not bad.
Good to know there are cars and owners which could also be my project. beer
