Ring me next time bloke, could have met up!! Will it stay or will it go??
For God's sake... Ian, try and punch some sense in to him.... Should I sell it... should I keep it... I want a Vantage... I love my TVR... I've got Astonitis.. Jesus Christ my TVR is fast... OMG that Aston is beautiful...
Mac, you're having a mid life crises... everyone gets one... especially petrolheads... man the feck up and make a decision you big girls blouse......
If you sell your TVR you will always regret it... If you buy a Vantage you will love it.... If you don't sell the TVR you will always think what you could have bought if you had of done.. If you don't buy a Vantage you will always wish you had...
There is no right or wrong in this.. Do what your heart tells you...
BUT... Do not sell that Chimaera for less than £35k... minimum... that is one stunning example of everything a TVR can be..
It's better than a new car, quicker than just about everything else on the road, stunningly beautiful, and unique...
You don't need an AM....
Just to help, I'll leave this here.....

How many Tivs have you had Mac, sold, regretted it and then bought another.
I suspect the sale of this one would be no different. The only plus side is you could buy another and do it all again. I know you like tinkering
You're right in a way bloke and yes, I've regretted selling before especially my first. This one however will be a right wrench if I'm honest, made worse by collating photo's etc for parties that have expressed an interest thus far makes me wonder if I'm doing the right thing, but my mind is made and I now have other interests. Some are making the right noises whereas others are just fishing for build spec's (just ask, I'd gladly divulge) so we'll see I suspect the sale of this one would be no different. The only plus side is you could buy another and do it all again. I know you like tinkering
(as for build, it's not just a matter of bolting bits together, there's a bit more to it than that)

Jeezypeeps!!! Never met you, admire your car and your pros for some years now though sir.
Just my three-penneth... you'd be a nutter to sell that!!!! But hey-ho.
Cheers bloke, just that after 17 years with 4 TVR's and this one for 12 years it maybe time to move on. Then again if I get nothing but idiots after a 'test drive' I wont bother.Just my three-penneth... you'd be a nutter to sell that!!!! But hey-ho.
Problem I have is that I have to be firm with the advert to put idiots straight from the start then at the same time not alienate what may be a genuine purchaser by sounding arrogant. Another problem I have is that I don't think some realise what 573/610 (measured, not guessing seat of the pants bullst) actually feels like in a lightweight car that 'can' struggle for traction at 100mph in 5th gear and in the dry if provoked.

You said it there mate, 'put foot flat down'. Just needs a little respect. I used to get the same after a winter when I had bikes. Throttle goes both ways and it can and usually is driven like miss Daisy, just that there is a Psycho there if you dare to wake it. Much like many TVR's as they can all bite.
