I'm going to need new carpets throughout but can only find cover dales who are extremely expensive. Anyone know of a car carpet supplier that has a good colour range and top quality, I can make the set myself so just need it off the roll
Cheers

Has to be worth a call to D&C Trim if you find you just want to stick a ready made set in

They get theirs from coverdales.

Central Tvr are not too bad on cost from memory but I got mine from D&C as Anthony pointed out above and they are great to deal with and go out of their way to help.

There's not a massive difference in cost unless you are not looking at apples for apples.

I had a trimmer pipe carpet for me from Martrim as it felt better quality but that I think was more expensive than Coverdale.

Their price for Wilton is the same as coverdales per metre

Several years ago I bought carpet off the roll from Coverdales, had the piping done locally and fitted it myself.

If doing the job again I would go for Coverdales kit for the Chimera/Griffith. It will work out not a lot more expensive and saves a lot of hassle.

If you do opt for DIY Coverdale's their spray on glue is excellent but dont bother with their glue remover, I found it useless, white spirit is far more effective and the smell soon goes.

I'm slowly coming to the realisation that cover dales kit although expensive is the only option

When you pick a colour they send various samples with varying prices, which differ from the website, hence my comment. It's all hesian backed too rather than rubber. You pays your money you take your choice.

Following this with interest as I need to buy a set soon. I've also looked at lakewell.com.
Has anyone got any experience of the quality from this supplier?

Not the carpets but I did buy a hood for my S and the quality was good from Lakewell.

I can only speak from personal experience and I looked at all the suppliers and D&C did me a carpet set in 80% wool inc P&P for £460.00 on the nose, I don't think you will get much better for the money but as everyone says you pays your money!
